One Student, One Master, One Day
Spend a focused, very personal day, with a master artist
who has 50 + years of experience making art.
Offered in Michigan, and California
(With a model if you would like, and when in CA… At the ocean!)
Morning 9 AM – Noon
The day begins in the studio with Truman.
Lunch / Noon to 1 PM
Lunch is provided (any special dietary needs you may have, can be met)
Afternoon / 1 PM – 4 PM
You will spend the afternoon painting alongside Truman in Plein-Air
Dinner / 6 PM – 8 PM
Dinner at the Hosner home with Truman and Susanna!

Dear Truman, I can’t thank you enough for the workshop and demos at IAPS and for your skilled teaching and inspiring art. Encouraged by your words and example, I finished my figure in a landscape painting at home in Houston in my kitchen next to a south-facing window.
You chose your words so well in your demos and in the workshop that I knew just where to look for the light and its color influences. I have wanted to paint a figure wearing satin and bling for over a decade. Your teaching made it possible for me to make this particular dream come true.
